• Contact and visit existing and potential customers

• Pre-advise visits via a weekly and a long-term planning

• Prepare visit reports and monitor follow-up

• Gather and share market information

• Collaborate with S/C and other team members

• Share work and knowledge

• Represent company on (customer) events

• Manage sales process and maximize long and short-term results

• Sell company products and identify opportunities for cross-sell/up-sell

• Negotiate with customers to ensure profitable business

• Maintain relationships while managing and growing customer base

• Identify customer needs and potential opportunities

• Troubleshoot customer problems

• Identify, develop and pursue new customer leads


• Preferably 2/3 years minimum of experience in shipping or forwarding

• Proficient in Dutch & English

• MS office / CRM
