Combifloat Systems B.V is the exclusive supplier of the modular Combifloat® pontoons. A wide variety of clients in the offshore and marine construction industry are using this flexible modular floating and elevating construction system, eminently suitable for coastal and inland waters.

Combifloat is a truly globally operating company with over 95% export, worldwide, having an own office in Dubai and agents in various countries. Fabrication takes place in Europe, the Middle East and China.

For their head office in Capelle a/d IJssel, Venturn is looking for a Procurement Manager, who is involved in all purchasing and logistic activities of Combifloat.


Organization

To be succesful in this role you have to be very versatile and have general knowledge of many things and specific knowledge of projectcargo and buying (steel, rotation equipment and hydraulics). The procument manager is vital in the organisation, as you would be responsible for key processess. With persuasiveness and excellent communication skills you know how to gather relevant information to make strategic decisions and help Combifloat move forward. This job does not require traditional buyingskills, but a hybrid approach to maintain high quality and performance throughout the organisation.

Function

Tasks

• Daily coordination and execution of all purchasing activities

• Negotiate (purchase) contracts

• Approve invoices

• Expedite outstanding deliveries

• Sourcing and assessment of new suppliers

• Set up of frame agreements with suppliers

• Daily coordination and execution of all Transport activities

• Support further implementation of new ERP system

• Purchasing input in ERP system

• Controlling storage inventory


Responsibilities

• Closing contracts against the best prices and conditions

• In time delivery and transport of Combifloat equipment

• Maintaining long term relationships with current and potential suppliers

• Identify and report non-compliances within ISO/QA/HSE standards

Requirements

• About 5 – 10 years in a technical marine procurement position, with ample experience in transportation / mobilisation of equipment worldwide

• Specific experience with procurement of steel, hydraulic and / or rotating equipment is highly preferred

• All communication is in English language, mastering additional foreign language is a benefit

• Technical Bachelor diploma

• NEVI 1/2 is preferred

Offer

• +/- €5000,- gpm (may differ based on experience and age)
